If desired, he examines and treats
also small animals in their familiar surroundings,
so that they are under less stress and more
relaxed. And when dealing with horses, his special training allows him to provide
both farriery and veterinarian services at an extraordinarily high standard.
Andreas Barolin graduated
in 1996 from the Veterinary University in Vienna. He first served at a clinic for
racehorses in Meran, Italy. After serving in the military as a field vet he spent
some time in Canada, where he worked at the renowned Beckwith Veterinary Clinic,
in California, Texas and Switzerland, where he
acquired a great deal of practical experience.
Eventually he returned to
Liechtenstein in order to create his mobile veterinary practice. He soon realized
that this mobile service filled a real need in this area. By making home visits, he
provides a convenient extra service to pet owners who are either unable or unwilling to
take their pets to a clinic.
In May 2004 Andreas Barolin opened a
veterinary practice in Schaanwald, right on the main road, where he
offers care and treatment to all animals.
Horse owners value him because
he's a farrier and veterinarian at the same time. As these two professionals often
have to work closely together, Andreas can offer the best possible service, as he combines
the knowledge and skill of both professions.

He is often accompanied by his faithful companion
FRANZ, who is a jolly, friendly black Shepherd mix. |
He is on call 24 hours a
day. In an emergency, he is just one phone call away.
